Giveon returns with his first single of 2022.
The Grammy-nominated crooner continues to prove why he’s one of R&B’s most exciting voices with “Lie Again.” Over a soulful groove, he sends a message to an ex-lover.
“So lie, lie again / No one has had you like I did / I don’t need the truth, baby,” he sings in his signature baritone.
Last week, Giveon’s ex-girlfriend Justine Skye released her single “What a Lie,” but despite the similar title, Justine says Giveon’s song is not a response.
“Lie Again” marks Giveon’s first release since “For Tonight” in September 2021. He is now readying his debut album for release later this year.
