Logic is putting his label on blast.

After coming out of retirement last year, the Maryland rapper is doing things on his terms. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, he called out his label over the rollout of his two new songs, “Decades” and “Tetris.”

“Def Jam, why you fu**in’ up my releases?” he asked. “I told Def Jam that I wanted to release my shit as a two-pack and I just found out that they’re releasing it as two singles at the same time. What kind of shit is that?”

According to Logic, the label advised him not to release his “Tetris” video early on YouTube because it could upset the other streaming partners and look like he was giving them an exclusive.

But Logic said he no longer wants to play by the industry rules. “I don’t give a f**k about none of that shit. I care about my fans, man. I care about hip-hop, I care about music, and I’ma be honest, years ago, I was playing that game,” he said. “I had my baby, I had my wife, I am blessed, bro, I made it. And now that I’m here at this place, I ain’t taking nobody’s shit.”

He later warned, “Def Jam, do not f**k up my shit.”

Despite Logic’s wishes, “Decades” and “Tetris” were released to streaming platforms as separate singles instead of as a two-pack.

Logic is now readying his new album Vinyl Days for release in June. He will also hit the road with Wiz Khalifa on their co-headlining “Vinyl Verse Tour,” which kicks off July 27 in Irvine, Calif.
