Just days before the release of his new album Dope Don’t Sell Itself, 2 Chainz paid a return visit to Power 106’s L.A. Leakers.
Over The Pharcyde classic “Passin’ Me By,” the Atlanta rapper unleashed a blistering freestyle.
“Sold so much dope, baking soda gave me a scholarship / Sold so many bags, Ziploc gave me a scholarship / Ni**as know Toni rappin’ like I’m on Tha Carter VI,” he raps before boasting about his designer fits and foreign whips. “This sound like Toni featuring The Weeknd.”
On Friday, 2 Chainz is set to release his seventh studio album Dope Don’t Sell Itself featuring Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, NBA YoungBoy, Lil Durk, Swae Lee, and Jacquees.
He confirmed that ColleGrove 2, his collaborative project with Lil Wayne, will also drop this year.
Additionally, 2 Chainz is making moves in the corporate world. He was named Head of Creative Marketing for Southern restaurant chain Krystal, and will oversee the creation of menus, merchandising, and co-branded restaurants in his hometown of Atlanta.
