6LACK has remained quiet on the music front this year, but in the last days of 2021, he blesses fans with a pair of new tracks—”Rent Free” and “By Any Means.”

On “Rent Free,” the Atlanta crooner reflects on the past year. “Been through a lot this year / Had to pay the price this year,” he sings. “All the wrongs and the rights this year / Got me looking at my life this year / Like I really got to make things clear.”

“By Any Means” finds 6LACK back in his bag: “Just a young ni** with a gold grill / Can’t believe I really made a whole mil / Then a whole mil, then some more mils, then some more mils.”

The two tracks arrive ahead of 6LACK’s third studio album, the follow-up to 2018’s East Atlanta Love Letter. Additionally, he can be heard on Khalid’s new EP Scenic Drive.
