Before he releases Utopia, Travis Scott may have a surprise for fans.

A fan account, who has a track record of leaking accurate information, claims that the Houston rapper will drop a mixtape called Dystopia before his highly-anticipated fourth album.

The reliable leaker, OnThinIce, says the project will arrive before Travis’ Astroworld festival on Nov. 5 and compared it to Travis’ 2014 mixtape Days Before Rodeo, which was released prior to his 2015 debut album Rodeo.

Travis hinted at the dystopia concept in a recent interview with CR Fashion Book.

“You think utopia is a society where everything is good: health, buildings, architecture—nah,” he told the magazine. “It’s just about proper lines of communication. Because that’s the dystopian shit we’re in right now. It’s all hate, hate, hate, and all of that is drawn from what? Miscommunication, non-communication, non-understandable communication, ignorance to communication.”

Utopia, the follow-up to 2018’s Astroworld, does not have a release date, but the leaker claims it won’t arrive until next year, along with a tour.

Travis is making sure to take his time. “If I’m working on an album—I haven’t dropped an album in four years. I could be impatient and be like, ‘Let’s just drop some music!’ But nah, for it to be great, shit takes time,” he said.

Earlier this week, he shared photos from the studio including one with Mike Dean, while there is also speculation that he and The Weeknd have recorded another collaboration.

Meanwhile, Travis can be heard on two songs off Don Toliver’s new album Life of a Don, “Flocky Flocky” and “You.”
