Nicki Minaj’s vaccine tweets have caught the attention of the White House.

On Wednesday (Sept. 15), Nicki claimed that the White House contacted her to arrange a visit in the wake of comments she made about her cousin’s friend’s testicles becoming swollen after taking the COVID-19 vaccine.

“The White House has invited me & I think it’s a step in the right direction,” she told her 22 million followers. “Yes, I’m going. I’ll be dressed in all pink like Legally Blonde so they know I mean business. I’ll ask questions on behalf of the ppl who have been made fun of for simply being human.”

Nicki said she had accepted the invitation and would go and ask questions on behalf of those who are skeptical of the vaccine. “I’m doing it, babe. If you guys have questions you’d like me to ask, leave in the comments. You’ll see it in real time with full transparency,” she added.

However, the White House is denying that a visit had been offered and says it only offered Nicki a phone call with medical experts after she posted inaccurate claims about the COVID-19 vaccine, which received backlash.

“As we have with others, we offered a call with Nicki Minaj and one of our doctors to answer questions she has about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine,” a White House official told NBC News.

On Wednesday evening, Nicki went live on Instagram to refute the claim and insist that a visit had been offered.

“Do y’all think I would go on the internet and lie about being invited to the fucking White House? Like what? Do you guys see what is happening right now?” she asked.

Nicki claims that her team got a call from the White House inviting her to meet with Dr. Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the U.S. Surgeon General Vice Admiral Vivek Murthy.

She said she would rather not travel and suggested doing an Instagram Live. “But they have never taken that off the table for me to come to the White House,” she insisted.

During her 14-minute IG Live, she took shots at the Democratic Party and MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who she called an “Uncle Tomiana.”

She also posted a message on her Instagram Stories suggesting that Malcolm X would express vaccine hesitancy if he were alive today.

“Y’all gotta stop pretending to love ppl with backbones,” she wrote. “If Malcolm X were here, he’d be asking questions & most of y’all that holler ‘Black Lives Matter’ & ‘protect Black women’ would be telling them him to shut-UP & fall in line. Y’all say these ppl’s names but embody the spirit of a coward.”

After her controversial comments, she claims her Twitter account was suspended. “I’m in Twitter jail y’all. They didn’t like what I was saying over there on that block,” she wrote on IG Stories.

However, a spokesperson for Twitter told Vulture that they “did not take any enforcement action” on Nicki’s account.
