The “Streets” singer has purchased a $2.2 million midcentury home in the mountains above Beverly Hills. Originally built in 1960 and renovated multiple times, the 2,400-square-foot property sits behind a long driveway and features four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Described as “the epitome of bohemian-chic,” the multilevel structure includes floor-to-ceiling windows, white cement walls, and polished porcelain floors.
The 1950s-inspired living room boasts a dual-sided fireplace, while a curved island sits in the retro skylit kitchen. In the master bedroom, there is a walk-in closet, dressing area, and a bathroom with a modern cement Japanese soaking tub. Downstairs is a full basement attached to a two-car garage, complete with a bedroom that could double as a private gym, office, or recording studio.
A balcony overlooks the backyard, which includes a plunge pool and wood and concrete patios, shrouded by evergreen trees for ultimate privacy.
The house was listed in October for $2.3 million before closing last month just under $2.2 million. Doja Cat was born in Tarzana, Calif. and grew up not far away from her new pad in the neighborhood of Sherman Oaks.
The Grammy-nominated artist is now readying her new album Planet Her, which may include appearances from The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, and SZA.
